Welcome to St Sampson’s High School where children join at 11 years old and progress through to the age of 16. St Sampson’s offers families a warm, welcoming setting where children are supported, and where their talents are nurtured through the exploration of the Bailiwick Big Picture curriculum which is intended to develop all children as: successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.
The school educates over 700 students every year with a wide spectrum of aspirations, interests and needs. The school offers high quality pastoral support, academic challenge and a wider curriculum that builds resilience and brings out the joy and confidence in all of our young people.
Our partner primary schools include Haute Capelles primary school; La Mare de Carteret primary school and Vale primary school. We enjoy transition days in the summer term welcoming year 6 students and work with our primary partners to ensure transition is smooth and well supported.
St Sampson’s School provides excellent facilities for our young people and becomes a central community hub for a range of organisations out of hours.
We hope you enjoy the content of our site and look forward to welcoming you to our school.
Bronze DofE We have had an exceptionally busy, but productive, route planning session this evening. Thank you to all the staff for giving up their time to make this possible. We are counting down the days until our expeditions begin Thanks also to Craig from the canteen for keeping us fed!
